For nearly two decades now, educational research1-6 intensely reminds us of the important benefits of individualized coaching for faculty leaders in academic medicine. For deans, department chairs, center directors, and divisions with the college interested in receiving 1:1 executive coaching, we invite you to explore the recommended options below. Our recommendations come from first-hand outcomes and collaborative experiences with them in our development programs across the college.

Sandy Scott Coaching Group, LLC, currently serves a curricular program leader, 1:1, and group coach for the college’s faculty and Graduate Medical Education (GME) housestaff development program under our vice dean of GME, Cheryl O’Malley, MD. She specializes in physician coaching.

DLM Coaching, Consulting & Wellness, LLC is owned and lead by our former Assistant Dean of Faculty Affairs and Career Development, former director of the College’s LIFT faculty mentoring program, and former chair-elect of the AAMC Group on Faculty Affairs.
